Ivins Soccer is an independently owned recreational community soccer program open to any and all players ages 3 ½ to 16 currently living in Washington County. We are devoted to promoting physical fitness, sportsmanship and the love of soccer. We believe in helping our youth become better athletes and better people by building self-esteem & confidence, along with team work. We strive to provide a healthy, fun & active soccer program for all youth in our community.
All games are played on week nights at Unity Park (200 W. 400 S.) in Ivins.
Who We Are
Ivins Soccer is a “Small Sided” soccer league – meaning all our games are played with fewer players, playing on smaller sized fields. We’ve all watched soccer games played with 11 kids on each side of the field and only 3 or 4 of those 11 players actually ever get to touch the ball, while the other 7 or 8 kids pick daisy or just watch….not very fun for those 7 or 8 kids! With small sided games EVERYONE gets to touch the ball EVERY game! Players of all ages benefit from playing small sided games. Here are just a few of the reasons why we love playing small sided games:
* Players get to touch the ball more and become more skilled with the ball
* Players get more playing time in the games
* Players get to have more opportunities to SCORE goals
* Players get more individual teaching time with the coach
We LOVE playing small sided games and are confident if you have never tried it – you will love it too!
